Maintaining Your Health At Home

I don’t believe that this post is what most people are expecting to hear. I’m talking about taking care of yourself in a home where people trash the place. And since the quarantine is happening, this is more important to hear now than ever. If you are staying home with other people that trash the house, then you know exactly what I mean.

The first thing to do is to take care of your own space. I let people trash their area as much as they want. I don’t clean up for them. I simply clean my own area and I make it the best that I possibly can. I clean every morning and my room is always tidy. I can’t say the same for some other people.

The next thing I do is ignore. I ignore all of the nonsense because quite frankly, it’s not a good use of my time and my energy. I have so much to do every day that I don’t even blink anymore when I see garbage everywhere outside of my room. It’s normal for me and I turn the other shoulder.

I also make sure that I have my own life to fall back onto. I talk to my friends, make sure my dog is okay, and I am always socializing with other people. I take care of my life so I am always busy. I don’t care what other people in my house are doing. I have my own things going on and it definitely helps when you’re living with people that are difficult to live with.

In the end, stay happy and mind your own business. Make your life as great as possible and nothing else will matter. Stay strong!

Working hard or hardly working?

I feel like I haven’t been working as hard on my blogging as I should be. I need to keep up with posting regularly and often. If you don’t know, posting blog posts produces more blog views than regular networking does. And I have recently spent most of my time networking. I just posted several blog posts and I got more views in a small amount of time than I would have gotten through plain networking. Don’t get me wrong. Networking is great and it should be done alongside posting, but posting blog posts are definitely better for attracting more views. Keep working hard and I will do so also. The more you know, right?

Morning Workouts Have Changed My Life

I’ve recently started working out with my husband in the early mornings. We both wake up around 5 am and we go to our home gym to workout. It has been so much fun to get an early start on our day. We also get to relax a little more in the morning before both of us have to go to work. We eat breakfast together and that is also another time where we can relax together. We’ve been working out together for many years now. It’s been almost six years. I’m very glad that we both love to workout. I’ve found that working out really relaxes my mind and it’s also good for my overall health.

Since we’ve made this change, I’ve gotten a lot more work done. I have more time during the day to complete tasks and relax also. If you are not an early riser, you’ll have to try going to sleep early. I try to sleep around 9 pm-10 pm. It was difficult at first, but you eventually get used to it. I used to fall asleep around 2 am which has been a huge difference for me. I haven’t been tired or anything since I’ve made the change. If you haven’t tried this yet, I highly recommend doing this. Try it for a week or two, and see if you like it also!

Going to the gym has changed my life

I started going to the gym one year after I finished high school. I was never old enough and that stopped me from going. I remember going to 24 hour fitness with my giant sketchers and working on the stair master for hours. I was a gym addict. I loved going by myself and I remember listening to my iPod while working out. Fast forward a couple of years later, my husband and I had just started dating. He was just my boyfriend at the time, but I was glad that he liked going to the gym also. I never really had a workout buddy because I always worked out by myself. He quickly became my workout buddy. I found out that I was even going to the gym more often than him. And the gym became our safe haven. It was an activity that both of us could do together. We would go swimming, running on the track, walking on the treadmill, or just using the sauna together. We love it and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. When you share something with your spouse, the both of you can motivate each other. Now, as I’m going back for my graduate degree, I use the gym to study while also working out. I find that I mainly workout to stay healthy and to keep my heart rate up. I now use it to study and decompress. The benefits are amazing. If you can, I would highly recommend going to workout at the gym. It has literally changed my life.

My apologies

I haven’t posted at all on this blog since I created it and that is entirely my fault. I want to post more on here updating on heath and fitness, but I haven’t found the time to really dedicate myself to blogging. I blog more on my other blogs. I know that’s only an excuse and I promise to try posting on here.

I feel like the entire year has been dedicated to mental health for me. I’ve have huge ups and downs with my mental health. I’ll have days where I’m happy, but they always seem to go back down. I know that my own happiness is very important and that’s why I’ve been working so hard to protect it. I want to post a list of things that I want to improve on to hold myself accountable. Keep a look out for that! See you soon!

I’ve been blogging for more than a year now and I really enjoy sharing my thoughts on my blogs. I’m hoping to set this one off to a great start. And I hope that you’ll find this blog enjoyable and helpful to read!
